The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry held a webinar on energy production cooperation within the framework of the India-Central Asia Business Council seeing the relevant ministries and other stakeholders in the online event.
Dilshod Ahatov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India, presented information about the reforms in the energy sector, including the implemented projects for the development of renewable energy sources.
On the other hand, the Indian side expressed its readiness to intensify cooperation in the production of solar modules, batteries for energy storage and other renewable energy systems in Uzbekistan.
The participants highly appreciated the wide-ranging reforms carried out in the development of the energy sector, and the favourable conditions created for foreign investors, and noted that the interest of businessmen in deepening cooperation with Uzbekistan is increasing.
