On August 17, President Mirziyoyev visited Al-Masjid an-Nabawi (the Prophet's Mosque) and prayed two rakats, the "Uzbekistan 24" TV channel broadcasts.
The head of state went to Medina as the first destination of his state visit to Saudi Arabia where he performed two rakats of prayer in the Prophet's Mosque making duas for the prosperity of the people of Uzbekistan.
Uzbek President entered the holy room and greeted Muhammad, peace be upon him. He also was introduced to the sayings of the Prophet and the Museum of Islamic Civilization.
After the Medina trip, Mirziyoyev left for Jeddah.
