On August 15, the "Army master", "Safe environment" and "Field kitchen" competitions of the VIII International Army Games "ArMI-2022" hosted by Uzbekistan began at the "Forish" mountain range of the Central Military District. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.
The Ministry of Defense and participating countries, senators, representatives of state and public organizations, members of the public council under the Ministry of Defense, veterans and youth, journalists and bloggers spectated the parade of the Central Military Orchestra of the Ministry of Defense, a large concert program performed by well-known artists, and Cadets of the Academy of Armed Forces who demonstrated the performances with weapons.
The Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan is participating in 20 international army games this year. 257 teams from 37 countries compete in competitions covering 34 disciplines.
A total of 277 teams from 42 countries competed in the 2021 International Army Games, and Uzbek teams participated in 24 events. According to the general results, the country's teams won 4 gold, 9 silver and 4 bronze medals and took 2nd place overall. Also, 10 out of 37 record results were broken by Uzbek military personnel.
