Oybek Shahavdinov has been appointed acting head of the Department of Cooperation with European Countries and European Union Institutions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Shahavdinov was born in 1977 in the Khorezm region. Graduated from Birmingham University (Great Britain). He fluently speaks English, Turkish and French.
He has been working in the system of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan since 2004in the Central Office of the Ministry and diplomatic missions of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad.
Until today, he worked as the head of the Department of Cooperation with European countries and EU institutions.
Married. Father of three children.
