On August 3, a meeting announced the proposals and requests sent for an upcoming dialogue with Shavkat Mirziyoyev with business owners in Uzbekistan the President's press service reports.
On August 20, 2021, for the first time, the head of state held an open dialogue with entrepreneurs and the business elite that was marked as "Entrepreneurs' Day" in the country.
This year, a special centre organized a call centre to collect questions and suggestions from business owners. To date, the centre received more than 7,200 proposals and requests with most of them being solved on the spot.
The head of state paid special attention to systemic problems in the protection of private property, red tape in obtaining licenses and permits, loans, construction, and tax administration.
The head of state stressed the need to help small and medium-sized businesses.
Starting from the middle of August, it is planned to hold a weekly meeting between business owners and government bodies before the most important talk with the President.
