According to the representative of the Iranian customs, 776.1 thousand tons of non-oil products worth 517 million dollars were traded between Iran and Uzbekistan in the last twelve months (LTM) which is 103% more compared to the same period last year.
The share of Uzbekistan's imports from Iran amounted to 714.9 thousand tons, that is, 402 million dollars, which is 146% more than last year.
Uzbekistan exported 62,000 tons of goods worth 115 million dollars to Iran, which is 26% more than the same period last year.
Uzbekistan mainly imports dairy products, cleaning products, agricultural products, construction materials, tar, industrial oils, mineral products, and chemical and petrochemical products from Iran.
On the contrary, Uzbekistan generally did export threads, silk, and edible seeds, in particular, barley and kaolin products to Iran.
