The plane, that made the first passenger flight on the Kuala Lumpur-Tashkent-Kuala Lumpur route, landed at Tashkent International Airport on July 9 at 07:30 local time with a water arch.
92 passengers, including the management of the national carrier of Malaysia, arrived on the first charter flight of Malaysia Airlines from Kuala Lumpur to Tashkent on an A330-200 aircraft. The passengers were solemnly welcomed on a red carpet to the sounds of trumpets and trumpets at the airport’s terminal.
The Malaysian carrier plans to execute the charter flights every 10 days which should boost Uzbekistan’s inbound tourism potential.
