The New Presidential Decree "On additional measures to improve the activities of the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami" will allow the teacher’s educational institution an academic, organizational, and financial independence, the "Legal Information" channel in the Telegram reports.
In the 2024/2025 academic year, the process of admission to the pedagogical disciplines of the university as an experiment will be carried out in two stages - the first stage examination and entrance tests.
• First stage and entrance tests are conducted by the Test Centre;
• At the first stage an applicant must show his interest in the pedagogical profession;
• Only applicants who successfully pass the first step will be allowed to take the entrance test.
Until January 1, 2024:
• The information system "Management of Higher Education Processes" will be fully implemented in the university;
• The university's scientific journal will be included in Scopus, Web of Science, or other international databases.
By March 1, 2023, the practice of presenting and discussing the open lessons of advanced teachers in general secondary education through online platforms will be introduced.
