A man trying to smuggle $ 1 million to Kyrgyzstan has been detained in Andijan
On June 22, The Border Troops of the State Security Service of Uzbekistan prevented the smuggling of $ 1 million in cash into Kyrgyzstan.
A local resident of Pakhtaabad district, Andijan region was apprehended while trying to smuggle a large amount of US currency in two plastic bags into Kyrgyzstan.
The Uzbek Law enforcement has filed a criminal case against the wrongdoer.
According to the law, the travelers must declare physical currency equivalent to 100 million soums and no declaration form submission is needed if one carries out cash up to 70 million soums.
