LUKOIL, a Russian energy company, is launching a network of franchise gas stations in Uzbekistan. The move, reported by the Neftegaz.ru portal, signifies a strategic effort to increase access to fuel and services across the country.
On April 3, two franchise gas stations opened along the M39 highway, conveniently located 12 kilometers southwest of Tashkent. Situated in an area with 40,000 cars passing daily, these stations aim to meet the growing demand for fuel and amenities.
Featuring cafes, shops, relaxation terraces, prayer rooms, and sports grounds, these stations offer a range of facilities. They also provide various fuel options, including LUKOIL's premium ECTO-100.
This expansion builds on LUKOIL's existing presence in Uzbekistan, where it opened its first gas station in 2018.
In addition, LUKOIL has commenced franchise operations in Kazakhstan, with the opening of its first branded gas station on April 15. Specifics about its expansion in Kazakhstan remain undisclosed.
