The "Uzbektelefilm" state institution, a part of Uzbekistan's national television and radio company, participated in the 11th International "Slavic Tale" film festival, which was organized by the Bulgarian Film Academy and the Internet Communication Agency in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.
During the festival, the directors of the "Dilozor" series, Otabek Ibragimov and Aziz Mardonov, produced by this organization, received the Grand Prix in recognition of their outstanding directorial work.
Furthermore, Muqaddas Usmanova, the screenwriter of the "Dilozor" series, was honored with the award for "Best Script Work," while the series operator, Ravshan Mirzakamolov, received the accolade for "Best Cinematography Work."
The "Dilozor" series had previously been recognized as the "Best TV Series of the Year" in the "Most Active of the Year-2022" competition. The series revolves around young artists who have chosen the path of art and music. Its central theme aims to cultivate a love for music in the hearts of the younger generation, encourage them to always strive towards their goals, not fear failure, and foster sacred sentiments such as love for the homeland, national pride, and honor.
The series featured renowned actors and actresses, including Asal Shodiyeva, Durdona Kurbanova, Feruza Yusupova, and Shahrukh Hamdamov, as well as celebrated folk artists. Most of the scenes were filmed at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.
Moreover, Otabek Ibragimov, who directed the filming process, also serves as the head of the press service of the World Languages University.
