The venue has transformed into a hub for media professionals, where approximately 2,000 journalists from 59 countries are diligently covering the event. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev embarked on a business visit to Kazan, Russia, where he will participate in the ongoing BRICS summit and engage in several bilateral meetings, following an invitation extended by President Vladimir Putin.
At the plenary session, President Mirziyoyev is set to deliver a speech in the BRICS Plus format, where he will address key issues regarding the expansion of international cooperation aimed at achieving inclusive and sustainable development.
The summit's agenda encompasses a range of current global political issues, reflecting the collective interests of the BRICS nations. Founded in 2006, the BRICS association now includes Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, and has expanded to incorporate the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Egypt, and Ethiopia.
