Croatian employers have announced new job vacancies in the construction and technical sectors, according to a report by the Migration Agency. The companies are actively seeking experienced professionals for positions such as formwork workers, reinforcement workers, parquet layers, plasterers, crane operators, and excavator operators. The recruitment is open to candidates between the ages of 18 and 50, with starting salaries set at €1,000.
To be eligible, applicants must meet several key requirements. These include proficiency in either Russian or English, at least one year of relevant work experience with supporting documentation, no criminal record or restrictions on international travel, and sound physical and mental health. Additionally, candidates should have no harmful habits. During the selection process, all these criteria will be strictly verified.
For successful candidates, the employers will provide accommodation and cover travel expenses. However, applicants will be responsible for covering the costs of visas, airfare, and any associated agency fees. Those interested can submit their applications through the Migration Agency's official website.
Uzbek citizens applying for these positions may also qualify for compensation to help cover certain expenses. This includes up to 5 BRV (UZS 1.7mn ($133)) for work visa processing fees, up to 3 BRV (UZS 1.02mn ($80)) for professional and language exam expenses—provided they receive certification—and up to 2 BRV (UZS 680,000 ($53)) to assist with purchasing tickets.
This initiative offers skilled workers an opportunity to secure employment abroad, while also providing financial support to help cover some of the associated costs.
