Two of Iran’s leading industrial companies, Best Thermo Solutions and Elektrogen, have announced plans to build factories in Uzbekistan's Namangan region. This decision follows negotiations between the companies' leadership and the Governor of Namangan, Shavkatjon Abdurazzakov.
Best Thermo Solutions, a leader in the metallurgy sector, specializes in producing industrial boilers and heaters for industrial use. During the meeting, the company’s founder, Ali Aragi, expressed a strong interest in establishing a production facility in Namangan. The discussions covered potential opportunities and investment conditions in the region, with Governor Abdurazzakov highlighting the available free and small industrial zones designed to attract foreign investment.
Elektrogen, Iran’s premier electric motor manufacturer, also revealed plans to establish operations in Namangan. The company, known for its wide range of motors for both domestic and industrial use, aims to leverage Namangan’s strategic location to expand its footprint in regional markets.
Siyamak Moleverdi, the head of "Elektrogen," and Hamid Reza Shafeilar, the director of the company’s Uzbekistan branch, were received by Governor Abdurazzakov. During the talks, the region’s favorable industrial development and geographic advantages were discussed. After the meeting, the delegation toured the Namangan Free Economic Zone to explore potential sites for their new factory.
The establishment of these two factories is expected to enhance Namangan’s industrial sector, contribute to job creation, and strengthen economic ties between Uzbekistan and Iran.
