Representatives from IT Park recently held a meeting with Maksim Vasiliev, the Executive Director of IT company Haulmont. The discussion centered around the potential collaboration between Haulmont and Uzbekistan, with a focus on establishing a new office in the country.
Founded in 2008, Haulmont specializes in software development and IT services, with a particular emphasis on business process automation and enterprise application development. One of their flagship products, the CUBA Platform, is renowned for enabling the rapid development of enterprise applications. Haulmont boasts a global workforce of over 720 employees and an annual turnover exceeding $50mn.
Haulmont expressed strong interest in Uzbekistan’s burgeoning IT market and favorable business environment. The company is particularly drawn to the prospect of generating revenue in foreign currency, making Uzbekistan an attractive location for an export-oriented back office. Plans are underway for Haulmont to establish a major outsourcing office in Uzbekistan this autumn.
Haulmont's current workforce includes several Uzbek IT specialists who have demonstrated exceptional performance, further motivating the company to attract more Uzbek professionals to their new office. Previous meetings between Haulmont and IT Park representatives have focused on obtaining tax and business consultations to facilitate the commencement of operations in Uzbekistan.
The collaboration with Haulmont is expected to create new jobs for local IT specialists, boosting employment and skills while strengthening Uzbekistan's position in the global IT market and increasing export potential and foreign currency earnings.
