In the world of super welterweight boxing, WBA belt holder Israil Madrimov is set to face Terence Crawford on August 3. Ahead of this highly anticipated bout, Crawford is firmly directing his attention toward Madrimov, dismissing any speculation about a potential fight with Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.
"I'm not thinking about Canelo or any other boxer right now," Crawford stated. "All my thoughts are on August 3 and the fight against Israil Madrimov. That’s the only thing on my mind."
The upcoming match will see Crawford, who boasts a record of 40-0 with 31 knockout victories, challenge Madrimov for the WBA middleweight belt.
Madrimov, who recently captured the WBA belt by defeating Magomed Kurbanov with a fifth-round knockout on March 8 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is also gearing up for this critical fight.
The clash between Crawford and Madrimov will take place in Los Angeles, USA.
