In preparation for his upcoming championship fight against undefeated American boxer Terence Crawford, WBA super welterweight champion Israil Madrimov is training alongside fellow Uzbek boxers in Indio, California, USA.
Madrimov, along with Murodjon Ahmadaliyev, Bektemir Melikoziyev, and Batir Akhmedov, is focusing intensively on his training regime to ensure peak performance for the scheduled bout on August 3 in Los Angeles.
Crawford, known for his impressive professional record of 40 wins, including 31 knockouts, poses a challenge to Madrimov's title defense aspirations.
Madrimov's upcoming bout against Crawford comes after he clinched the WBA belt with a dominant fifth-round knockout victory over Russian fighter Magomed Kurbanov in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
