Enhancing Energy Security and Efficiency: The law sets out clear guidelines to ensure energy security by promoting the efficient and effective use of electric, thermal, fuel, and non-traditional energy resources. It aims to optimize energy consumption across economic sectors and within the social sphere.
Legal Framework and Accountability: One of the core aspects of the legislation is the introduction of stringent measures to enforce energy-saving practices and increase accountability for excessive resource consumption. This includes penalties for violations of energy efficiency standards.
Sector-Specific Directions: Specific provisions within the law address energy conservation and efficiency improvements tailored to sectors such as construction, transport, heat supply, utility services, agriculture, and water management.
