The British Management University (BMU) in Uzbekistan's Tashkent will host the FutureBIZ Connect Forum on May 1, which is designed to bring together experts in business and IT. The forum will focus on the pivotal roles of fintech and cybersecurity within modern business and banking environments.
The FutureBIZ Connect Forum aims to provide a deep dive into the challenges and solutions in the realms of cybersecurity and fintech. The discussions will focus on safeguarding financial data against increasing digital threats, with particular attention to phishing and other cyber threats that affect the financial sector.
The forum will feature a keynote session on "Cybersecurity Challenges in Fintech and Banking," moderated by Dana Yessentay from KPMG Caucasus and Central Asia. Esteemed speakers including Askar Zakirov of NAPP, Andrei Shishkin, Director of Information Security Assurance at Uzcard, Lionel Henderson from the Sino-British College, Lilia Achilova, Chairman of the Council Women Advisory Board at TSUL, Bachana Shelia, Managing Partner at Loialte, and Dmitry Samco, Deputy Head of Project Management at Ipak Yuli Bank, will share their insights.
The subsequent session, "Navigating the Integration of Fintech in Business and Banking," will be chaired by Nargis Dustmatova of the Fintech Association Uzbekistan. Key panellists will include Sodir Melibayev, Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Olim Talipov, Head of the CERT-CBU cyber security centre at the Central Bank, Nika Kurdiani, CEO of TBC Group Uzbekistan, Jakhongir Uzmonov, General Director of Zoodpay, and Bexruzbek Ochilov, Director of Investment Banking at Alkes Research.
