Several foreign IT companies have announced their intentions to establish representative offices in the Tashkent region, Uzbekistan, IT Park reported. This move comes as part of the Offshore Outsourcing Tour 2024 event, which saw a delegation from IT Park, led by Sarvar Pirnazarov, Director of the IT Park branch in Tashkent region, engaging in fruitful negotiations with representatives of IT firms from various countries including Korea, China, India, Japan, UAE, and others.

One of the highlights of the negotiations was the agreement reached with CJ Technology from China, represented by Zhuang Zhiyan, the company's Director. CJ Technology, an IT consulting firm founded in 2005, specializes in providing solutions to medium-sized enterprises and major corporations, ensuring the seamless operation of their systems and infrastructure.
The agreement entails the establishment of a branch of CJ Technology in the Tashkent region, promising to create over 50 employment opportunities for Uzbekistan's workforce by the end of 2024. Additionally, the company will offer outsourcing services to the global market, further enhancing Uzbekistan's presence in the international IT landscape.

In a separate negotiation, Jones Joseph, Director of Talrop from India, expressed interest in establishing a branch of his company in the Tashkent region. Talrop, founded in 2015 and headquartered in Kochi, India, specializes in developing diverse hybrid ecosystems for various industries, leveraging infrastructure, innovation, and talent.
The company is known for its commitment to supporting initiatives in education, technology, job creation, and entrepreneurship. In Uzbekistan, Talrop aims to focus on educating young professionals in the field of IT, enabling them to provide high-paying IT services globally.

These developments align closely with Uzbekistan's long-term vision outlined in the "Uzbekistan-2030" strategy, spearheaded by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The strategy aims to popularize the IT sector among youth and increase service exports, with a target of providing employment for 300,000 young individuals by 2030.
The establishment of representative offices by foreign IT companies not only creates new job opportunities but also attracts foreign investment, bolstering economic growth and enhancing the well-being of the Uzbekistan population.
