Uzbekistan airways launches direct flights from Tashkent to Rome
Uzbekistan Airways, the national airline of Uzbekistan, has announced the commencement of regular flights connecting Tashkent and Rome. The carrier's press service unveiled plans for direct flights on the Tashkent – Rome route, set to commence on March 31st of this year, enhancing connectivity and facilitating travel between the two cultural hubs.
The new route will be serviced by medium-haul Airbus 321Neo aircraft, promising passengers a comfortable and efficient journey. Operating once a week on Sundays, these flights are poised to meet the burgeoning demand for direct air travel between the capitals of Uzbekistan and Italy.
According to the flight schedule provided by Uzbekistan Airways, departure from Tashkent is scheduled for 15:50 local time, with an arrival in Rome at 19:50. Conversely, departure from Rome is slated for 21:20, with a return to Tashkent at 6:20 local time, carrying passengers into the next day.
Earlier Daryo reported that Qatar Airways, Qatar's national airline, has revealed its intention to initiate regular flights connecting Doha and Tashkent. The inaugural flight is slated for June 2, 2024. Travelers can anticipate convenient flight schedules with services available four times weekly, scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Qatar Airways has designated the Airbus A320 aircraft for these routes, promising passengers a comfortable and effective journey.
