Residents of Andijan, Ferghana, and Namangan provinces of Uzbekistan felt the earth tremors with a magnitude of two points. The distances from the epicentre to these regions were 542 km, 597 km, and 597 km, respectively.
On the night of January 22, a series of earthquakes occurred on the Kyrgyz-Chinese border. Their echoes were felt by residents of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. In Almaty, the strength of the tremors was about five points, resulting in more than 40 people being injured.
