Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov of Uzbekistan met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkey to Uzbekistan, Olgan Bekar, at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Government portal of Uzbekistan reported. The meeting, attended by high-ranking officials and representatives from both nations, aimed to explore opportunities for economic collaboration and strengthen bilateral ties.
The gathering included the presence of Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Davron Vahobov, as well as representatives from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Investments, Industry, and Trade. Alijan Aksoy, the first secretary of the Turkish embassy in Uzbekistan, represented the foreign side, underlining the importance both nations attach to fostering economic cooperation.
A central focus of the discussions was the exploration of avenues for expanding trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Turkey.
