Since 2008, the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic has served as the Secretariat for intergovernmental commissions on cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and foreign nations across trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural, and humanitarian domains.
Designed to ensure effective cooperation between the business community and the state on an international scale, intergovernmental commissions aim to create favourable conditions for the Kyrgyz Republic's foreign economic relations. The primary objective of each commission is to promote the development of foreign economic ties and support Kyrgyz entrepreneurs in their collaborations with international partners.
