A discussion was facilitated at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan during the visit of the DEWIB delegation to our nation, engaging representatives from ministries, departments, and business sectors of both countries.
The primary focus of this event was to foster connections between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the German delegation, present and deliberate on major investment initiatives in Uzbekistan, and pinpoint key areas for advancing collaboration.
The session saw the participation of 17 German companies involved in various domains such as mechanical engineering, metalworking, construction, agriculture, industrial waste management, and related fields. This occasion concluded with bilateral talks, engaging Uzbek and German business entities in business-to-business discussions.
Additionally, a Memorandum of Cooperation was inked between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the German-Eurasian Economic Union to bolster and broaden trade, economic, scientific, and technical relationships.
The German-Eurasian Economic Union represents the interests of mid-sized (family-owned) companies and professionals across diverse sectors, aiming to foster economic ties between Germany and Eurasian nations.
