A recent round of political discussions took place in Berlin, with the Kyrgyz Republic's Ministry of Foreign Affairs engaging with the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Kabar reports. The Kyrgyz delegation, led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Aybek Moldogaziev, convened with representatives led by Matthias Lüttenberg, who serves as the Commissioner for Eastern Europe, South Caucasus, and Central Asia at the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The discussions encompassed various facets of Kyrgyz-German relations, addressing political, economic, cultural, and humanitarian collaborations, in addition to regional and global matters. Moldogaziev shared insights on Kyrgyzstan's socio-economic advancements and reformative measures, underscoring the nation's commitment to fortifying its democratic and legal frameworks. He stressed the importance of sustained high-level political dialogues through reciprocal visits and the organization of diverse events.
Lüttenberg expressed contentment with the ongoing successful cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Germany, indicating a willingness to further advance this partnership. The discussions delved into a broad array of collaborative facets between the two nations.
Both parties concurred on the scheduling of the subsequent political consultation between the Kyrgyz and German foreign ministries, set to take place in Bishkek in 2024.
