Following the official visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Kyrgyzstan, a series of significant bilateral agreements were inked on October 12, aimed at strengthening the cooperation between the two nations.

Environmental conservation and forestry development were also on the agenda, with the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation. This memorandum outlines the commitment of both nations to work together to protect their shared natural resources and promote sustainable forestry practices.
Furthermore, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation on cooperation in the field of environmental protection and natural resources solidifies the collaborative efforts to safeguard the environment and preserve natural resources.
In the field of education, a Protocol of intent was signed between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and Lomonosov Moscow State University. This is expected to lead to closer ties in the academic and scientific spheres, fostering knowledge sharing and research collaboration.
Lastly, an agreement addressing biological safety was reached with the Memorandum of Understanding between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Russian Federation on issues of ensuring biological safety. This agreement will bolster joint efforts in preventing and responding to biological threats, ensuring the safety and well-being of both nations.
