A delegation, chaired by Sri Prakash Lohia, Chairman of Indorama Corporation in Singapore, recently visited the Fergana region, as reported by UzA. During their trip, the delegation had the opportunity to visit Indorama Kokand Fertilizers and Chemicals JSC in Kokand city, where they gained insight into the company's operations.
The Indorama Corporation had acquired 96% of the shares of the Kokand Superphosphate Plant in 2019, with the aim of expanding their business.
The plant underwent a thorough modernization process, resulting in a significant production capacity increase from 75,000 to 350,000 tons per year.
Nowadays, the plant produces high-quality mineral fertilizers for the agricultural sector. In addition, the delegation visited Fargonaazot JSC and learned about the company's ongoing modernization projects.
