Ministry of Defense assures that thousand military personnel involved in explosion losses elimination in Uzbekistan

Daryo reported that powerful explosion has shaken the district of Sergeli in Tashkent, as it originated in a warehouse belonging to Inter Logistics. Daryo correspondent on the site reports that the incident has prompted swift response efforts, with the Yakkasaroy district medical association dispatching personnel to provide assistance to injured residents at the scene.

Otabek Yuldashev, the press secretary of the Minister of Defense, confirmed that the Ministry of Defense has established a headquarters in the department of defense affairs in Sergeli to manage the crisis effectively. Yuldashev explained the measures being taken to support affected residents, stating, 

"We brought the Cultural Center to raise the mood of the population. In addition, tents are being set up, and lunches and dinners are being prepared for residents. A mobile hospital is deployed in the area, offering assistance to citizens. Military psychologists have also initiated psychological support services for the population."

He further revealed that approximately a thousand servicemen from the Tashkent military district, the Academy of Armed Forces, and the troops responsible for the protection of classified objects have been deployed to the area. Their primary focus is on cleaning up the damaged areas and providing essential aid to residents.
