A Kyrgyz-Finnish business forum - 2023 starts in Bishkek, the National Investment Agency of Kyrgyzstan reports.
The purpose of the event is to establish contacts between Kyrgyz and Finnish businesses and promote cooperation in such sectors as energy, agriculture, construction, information technology, and the green economy as a whole.
"Kyrgyzstan's exports to Finland in 2022 amounted to $112,000, imports - $3.5mn. Foreign investors work in the Kyrgyz Republic, and the country is always ready to accept new entrepreneurs. We fully support the initiatives and projects of foreign investors and are ready to provide maximum assistance in their further implementation, "said Deputy Head of the Cabinet Edil Baysalov.
Within the framework of the forum, representatives of more than 10 Finnish companies held bilateral meetings in the B2B format with local businesspeople.
