U.S. President Joe Biden stated in an interview with journalists that he is not familiar with the details of the possible death of "Wagner" founder Yevgeny Prigozhin.
"I'm not sure what exactly happened, but I'm not surprised," Biden said.
When asked by journalists whether he considers Vladimir Putin responsible for the plane crash, the U.S. President responded as follows:
"In Russia, there are rarely cases that don't involve Putin. I don't have enough information to answer." Prigozhin's plane crashed.
On the evening of August 23, a plane belonging to "Wagner" founder Yevgeny Prigozhin crashed in the Tver Region. According to the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency, the passenger list included Prigozhin and Dmitry Utkin, the commander of a private military unit.
A Telegram channel close to the group, Grey Zone, reported the deaths of Prigozhin and Utkin. Another channel associated with "Wagner" urged against publishing unverified information about Prigozhin's fate.
The crash of Prigozhin's plane occurred exactly two months after the uprising of the "Wagner" founder.
