Kyrgyzstan's gold exports have been successful in the first half of this year, with a total of 4.8 tons exported for over $302.7mn.
Over the reported period, Switzerland was the primary buyer of Kyrgyzstan's gold, with 3.97 tons worth about $250mn, followed by 517.8 kg sold to Hong Kong for more than $31.4mn, and 334.9 kg sold in the UAE for an amount exceeding $21.2mn.
The republic sold gold for $193.6mn in June alone, bringing the total since the beginning of the year to over $302.7mn.
In comparison, the same period in 2022 saw deliveries in monetary terms amounting to just $609,600.
