In late July, Western media highlighted a heartwarming story that unfolded in a suburb just south of Atlanta, Georgia.
A local teenager wanted to buy a PS5, and to achieve this, he began reaching out to residents in the neighborhood, offering to perform yard work such as weeding, mowing lawns, and trimming hedges. However, this did not sit well with some of the residents. They reported him to law enforcement in an attempt to have the young boy leave the area.
Officer Colleran responded to the call, and the boy shared his story with him. The law enforcement officer happened to be an avid gamer himself. After some time, with the support of his friends, he purchased a console and a PS Plus subscription for the teenager, enabling him to play online games.
The police department in Hayville stated that the teenager and Officer Colleran have become friends and plan to spend time together playing multiplayer games.
