Videos circulating on social media show long lines at CNG filling stations in Uzbekistan's Surkhandarya and Namangan regions. The Ministry of Energy has addressed the situation, stating that gas is being supplied following demand.
The Namangan region has received its monthly natural gas supply per the established limit. The cost per cubic meter of gas sold at gas stations has not increased.
A new month will begin, and gas supplies to gas stations will be established.
The Ministry of Energy urges citizens to report any unreasonable increase in gas prices at gas stations by calling the hotline of the Committee for Development of Competition and Consumer Rights Protection at 1159.
