Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister, Bakhtiyor Saidov, had a visit to London where he engaged in significant diplomatic activities.
During his trip, he conducted sincere negotiations with Tom Tugendhat, the UK's Security Minister and Member of Parliament, discussing the expansion of bilateral ties, exchanging expertise, and fostering cooperation in regional security, all with a strong focus on serving the interests of their respective nations.
In addition to the meeting with Tugendhat, Saidov also held a productive encounter with Gopichand P. Hinduja, the Chairman of Hinduja Group. Together, they explored a multitude of opportunities for successful business ventures in Uzbekistan, extending a warm invitation to Hinduja Group to explore the Uzbek market in-depth.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported this in his Telegram channel.
The visit holds special importance as the Hinduja family, originally from India, has recently maintained their prestigious rank as the wealthiest individuals on the UK's list, boasting a remarkable combined wealth of $43.5 bn as of mid-March this year.
During the visit, the Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan aimed to elevate the country's status in international affairs and strengthen economic alliances, demonstrating a strong dedication to advancing shared interests and collaborations on a global level.
