Belarus and Kyrgyzstan have agreed to a non-binding system for international road transport, media reports.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications of Belarus released a statement on July 14 announcing the Protocol on Amendments and Additions to the existing agreement between the two countries.
The First Deputy Transport and Communications Minister of Belarus, Aleksei Lyakhnovich, inked the document along with the Minister of Transport and Communications of Kyrgyzstan, Tilek Tekebaev.
The protocol eliminates the need for permits for all international road transport of goods and irregular passenger traffic between Belarus and Kyrgyzstan.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications of Belarus also reported that the two sides discussed prospects for cooperation in the transport sector.
