A delegation of Turkmenistan headed by Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dovletgeldy Redzhepov will pay a working visit to Dusseldorf from June 26 to 29, the Eastern Committee of the German Economy reports.
As stated in a recent press release, professionals within the business sector are currently expressing interest in forging connections with German engineering companies and associations, with a particular focus on those operating within the petrochemical, construction, and textile industries.
Turkmenistan has the world's fourth-largest reserves of natural gas. In addition to pipeline exports to Russia and China, processing natural gas into polypropylene and polyethylene, for example, is essential.

Throughout its independence, Turkmenistan has undergone a profound transformation from a nation primarily focused on raw material production to one that is now renowned as a preeminent global producer of top-tier textile goods. A significant 70% of the country's output is currently exported to foreign markets.
Several German companies are involved in long-term projects in Turkmenistan, including Siemens, Daimler, Claas, Rohde & Schwarz, Dresser-Rand, MAN, and Bosch.
Germany is among the four EU member states (France, Italy, and Romania being the others) with an embassy in Ashgabat, while Turkmenistan has a consulate in Frankfurt/Main and an embassy in Berlin.
