Starting from July 3, 2023, "Raiffeisen" limits its customers' ability to transfer euros not only within Russia but also to 12 other countries, Raiffeisen bank reports.
The sanctioned countries include Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, United Arab Emirates, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan.
Additionally, euro transfers to other banks within the territory of the Russian Federation will not be possible due to restrictions imposed by correspondent banks.
These changes do not affect euro transfers between clients of Raiffeisen Bank in Russia, allowing them to continue transferring euros between their own accounts or to other clients of Raiffeisen Bank.
