Based on recent analysis, Almaty continues to dominate the usage of advertising services in Kazakhstan. A substantial 75.2% of all services offered in the country were provided in this largest city, media reports.

Astana came in second place with a volume of services amounting to KZT 38.6bn, while the Karaganda region rounded off the top three with services worth KZT19.7bn. In contrast, Ulytau, Turkestan, and Zhetysu regions saw the least services rendered, ranging from KZT 75.2mn to KZT 364.5mn.

There has been a decrease in the volume of services in advertising, with a decline of 14.6% in 2022, as reported by the publication. The advertising agencies have taken the biggest hit, with almost all the volume in the sector falling to them at 81.7% or KZT 290.2bn. However, there has been a silver lining: advertising in the media has increased by 11.6%, up to KZT 10bn.
