Shavkat Mirziyoyev has given the order to expand the coverage of the program that supports the purchase of electricity produced by the public, his press secretary reports.
As part of the initiative, the Entrepreneurship Support Fund will reimburse 4% of the loan payments for solar panels to trade and service enterprises.
International financial organizations will provide $100mn to create "green" credit products for residents and small entrepreneurs in countries, with favorable conditions. Additionally, $8.7mn will be allocated to compensate for a portion of the loan interest paid by the public.
The Ministry of Economy and Finance has been tasked with introducing a system to reimburse part of the interest on "green" loans given to residents and entrepreneurs.
The government will also introduce a system of "green energy" certificates, starting with hydroelectric power plants receiving a "green" certificate from July 1. This system will be extended to all electricity generated from renewable sources from October 1.
