Egypt has donated the 'Daclatasvir' drug to Uzbekistan's hospitals to treat hepatitis C patients, Dunyo reports.
The batch of more than 17,000 boxes, worth $35,000, will be utilized to treat patients of the Research Institute of Virology of Uzbekistan's Ministry of Health.
The shipment is part of a broader collaborative effort between the health authorities of the two countries, which has already resulted in the delivery of $4.8mn worth of anti-hepatitis drugs to Uzbekistan.
