Several educational institutions in the capital of Kyrgyzstan Bishkek simultaneously received reports of bombs in the early morning of April 20, according to eyewitnesses.
Threatening calls were allegedly received by Oxford international school and secondary schools No. 4 and 27.
In addition, similar messages were also sent to Seitek STEM school, QSI International School of Bishkek, and schools No. 33, 63, 17, 51, 67, 52, and 62.
Educational institutions were cordoned off by security officers; students and administration were evacuated.
A number of public and private educational institutions were also threatened by mines on April 18. None of the bomb reports were confirmed eventually.
