March 7. The Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov met the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkey to Uzbekistan Olgan Bekar who expressed special gratitude to the leadership of Uzbekistan for sending rescuers and humanitarian aid to the regions affected by the earthquake.
During the dialogue, the parties confirmed that they intend to continue active cooperation in order to maintain increasingly positive results in the field of transport and logistics.
It was also agreed to increase the number of flights between the two countries and open new routes.
The parties discussed the organizational issues of holding the next meeting of the Uzbekistan-Turkey Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation in the second half of 2023.
