The upcoming first meeting of special representatives of countries neighboring Afghanistan will be held in Tashkent, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
The meeting will be held in Tashkent on March 7. Representatives of Uzbekistan, Iran, China, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan will participate in the event.
The meeting will discuss the current situation in Afghanistan, mutual cooperation of the parties to regulate the situation in the country and establish long-term peace and stability, as well as humanitarian aid to the Afghan people.
Earlier, it was also reported that railway cargo transportation between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan was restored on February 10.
