A solar photoelectric plant with a capacity of 1 MW is being built at the Toragorgon thermal power plant in Namangan region, the regional government press office informs.
The installation and assembly of solar panels has been started recently.
By preliminary estimates, after this station is commissioned, it will produce 1.9 million kWh of electricity per year, and 54,000 cubic meters of natural gas that was used to produce energy will be saved per annum.
