January 23. Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the decree "On additional measures to further improve the activity of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry" that should attract people into entrepreneurship activity. The text of the document was published in UzA.
According to the document, "Entrepreneurship avenues" will be built with the membership fees paid by business entities to the Chamber of Commerce, donations of individuals and legal entities, and local budget funds.
The site should provide the following amenities:
- meeting zones of entrepreneurs, bank representatives, investors, and "B2B" events and "coworking" activities, as well as Wi-Fi zones;
- all-year-round exhibitions demonstrating the results achieved by active entrepreneurs;
The Chamber, together with the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regional and Tashkent city administrations, and the State Assets Management Agency, within a period of 2 months, will submit to the Ministers proposals on the establishment of avenues in the republic's territories on the basis of state real estate objects that are vacant and inefficiently used in the regions.
