Another four citizens of Uzbekistan were evacuated from Istanbul to Tashkent, Dunyo reports.
According to the official telegram channel of the Uzbekistan Consulate General in Istanbul, Uzbek nationals were evacuated from Kahramanmaraş to Istanbul. Besides, the diplomatic mission along with representatives of Uzbekistan Airways in Istanbul helped the citizens purchase return tickets to their homeland.
Reportedly, the combined death toll in Syria and Türkiye from last week's earthquake already exceeds 40,000.
Since February 10, the military field hospital of Uzbekistan's Ministry of Defense operates in Türkiye's province of Hatay, where national military doctors and cooks assist everyone in need.
