Six citizens of Uzbekistan were evacuated from the Turkish city of Adana to Tashkent. According to the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, Uzbek nationals were first evacuated from Adana to Mersin and then to Istanbul.
The Consulate General promptly issued compatriots the necessary documents to return to their homeland. Air tickets were purchased with the help of a diplomatic mission and active compatriots, the message reads.
