Uzbek athletes won two silver medals at the international cycling tournament Troferu International de Pista sunlive in Portugal, the National Olympic Committee has reported.
In particular, Margarita Misyurina, representing the national team of Uzbekistan and the team Tashkent City Professional Women Cycling Team, occupied two prize places.
Uzbekistan demonstrated a second result in the race on the track omnium. In this program, Argiro Milakifrom Greece rose to the top of the podium and Spanish Isabel Navarro closed the top three. Thus, Misyurina recorded 90 rating points in her asset.
In addition, Misyurina together with Nafosat Kuzieva took second place in the program Madison. Gold medals in this discipline were occupied by representatives of Spain, and bronze by Austria.
