The Central Military Clinical Hospital of Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Defense expands cooperation with Turkey’s University of Health Sciences, Dunyo reports. The projects are underway with foreign military doctors in medical education and management development, training, and complex surgeries.
As part of the bilateral cooperation, an opening ceremony for 30-day training courses was held for specialists of the Central Military Clinical Hospital and the Medical Academy of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Rector of the University of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Cevdet Erdöl, said that in 2019, the University Faculty and the Higher School of Qualified Medical Services were opened at the Abu Ali Ibn Sino State Medical Institute.
He said that in 2022, 52 nurses had received diplomas from the Higher School of Nursing, and about 60 Turkish professors and doctors had visited Uzbekistan as part of the exchange program. It is planned to increase this figure to 100 this year.
The Rector also confirmed his readiness to cooperate fully with Uzbekistan.
